Senior Preconstruction Manager

Responsibilities

• Accurately review drawings, specifications, and other construction documents.
• Inform Preconstruction Director, Project Executive, and others of construction-related problems, completeness of information, and potential risks.
• Develop the construction schedule, staffing requirements, logistics plans, construction materials and methods, risk assessments, and cost estimates.
• Participate in the value engineering process.
• Aid in business development by supporting proposal presentations and building client relationships.
• Attend project interviews and presentations.
• Conduct preconstruction project meetings with clients, design teams, and Consigli project teams.
• Assist Purchasing and Estimating departments with evaluating and analyzing subcontractor proposals and preparing subcontracts.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of estimating experience, project management experience, project supervision experience, or equivalent combination of experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products.
• Desirable working knowledge of Timberline Estimating, On-Screen Take-off, and Primavera scheduling software.
