Job Title: Senior PowerApps / Power Platform Engineer - .NET & Azure Location: Mechanicsville, VA, USA Hourly Pay: $48/hr Job Tyoe: Hybrid Job Details: This opportunity is for a Senior Power Platform Developer based in Mechanicsville, VA with mandatory on-site presence, requiring a PowerApps Professional or Developer certification and acting as a Power Platform Consultant with 5+ years of experience in Power Platform and Dataverse including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages, along with 8+ years total IT experience as a Senior .NET / Full Stack Developer skilled in .NET, C#, JavaScript, DevOps, Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory for data integrations and migrations. In this role as a Microsoft Power Platform Engineer / Solution Architect, you will create and configure Canvas and Model-driven Apps, Power Pages and Automations, lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements gathering as a Technical Lead / Business Systems Analyst, participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and Agile SDLC while developing documentation, prototypes, and governance as a Power Platform ALM / DevOps Engineer. Preferred Experience: Includes working as a Copilot Studio Developer and M365 / SharePoint Online Developer with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, PowerShell and SPFx, with the interview process consisting of both webcam and in-person rounds. Required Certifications: * PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer Required Skills: * Experience with Power Platform and Dataverse (5 Years) * Experience in designing, implementing and migrating solutions utilizing Power Platform, including all : Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate (Flow) (5 Years) * Custom Development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C# (5 Years) * Experience with DevOps in Power Platform Environments (2 Years) * Total IT experience (8 Years) * Experience with Data Integrations and Migrations using Azure Synapse/Azure Data Factory (3 Years) Preferred Skills: * Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (1 Year) * Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, PowerShell Scripting and SPFx (5 Years) Job responsibilities: * Create and configure Power Apps\Power Automation (both Canvas and Model-driven Apps) * Create and configure Power Pages for external and internal websites * Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Power Platform customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage * Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio * Lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions * Understand the business and its challenges, functionally map a solution to the identified use cases and then develop an application using Power Platform * Participate in code reviews and enforce standards and best practices * Troubleshoot Power Platform issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes * Create design solutions and documentation for common use case scenarios * Preferred Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator) * Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage * Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs * Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform’s use at the client * Participate in Agile SDLC
