Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation in power systems studies, power quality analysis, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair, and training.
- Independently manage assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery within budgeted cost estimates and maintaining job cost accountability.
- Interpret customer specifications and inquiries to develop tailored technical proposals and pricing strategies.
- Provide innovative solutions that may include equipment upgrades, system testing, and design enhancements to improve performance and safety.
- Lead and mentor engineers on medium-sized projects, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
- Conduct and analyze Short-Circuit, LV/MV Coordination, and Arc Flash studies with precision and insight.
- Execute medium-complexity studies and projects independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Engineering 5+ years of experience Bachelor Degree focused in power PE License IEEE Membership Active in Local IEEE General Contractor’s License Electrical Contractor’s License
Position Criteria
- Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton’s safety program and policy; This includes role-applicable portions of the EESS Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) program and any required annual re-certifications thereafter.
