Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply technical knowledge to develop and support utility design projects while ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with designers, drafters, clients, and internal teams to complete accurate design packages.
- Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, and technical analyses for projects of varying complexity.
- Support project coordination by communicating scope, cost, schedule, and quality considerations.
- Review and ensure work products meet company and client procedures, including quality control and documentation standards.
- Conduct peer reviews, perform self-checks, and deliver accurate work with minimal errors.
- Interact professionally with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Provide guidance to designers and drafters and support team collaboration.
- Perform field visits and other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited university
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in electrical distribution
- Knowledge of software's BOUD, Maximo
- Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment
