Bill Rate: $69 - $74 per hour

About the Role

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Architecture. This role will design and deliver enterprise analytics, reporting, data-ingestion, and operational-control solutions that support business intelligence, process intelligence, and Human-in-the-Loop programs. The Senior Power BI & GCP Data Analytics Consultant will translate enterprise data into actionable insights through executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, automated GCP pipelines, and Statistical Process Control reporting. The consultant will work across business, engineering, product, data governance, and process-management teams to deliver scalable, governed, and reliable analytics capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development
• 3+ years of Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery experience
• Advanced Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data-modeling skills
• ETL/ELT, data integration, and scalable analytics-pipeline experience
• Executive dashboard, KPI, and operational reporting experience

Responsibilities

Power BI & Executive Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and scorecards
• Create executive, operational, and strategic reporting solutions
• Build complex data models, semantic layers, DAX measures, calculations, and Power Query transformations
• Develop interactive visualizations highlighting performance trends, risks, exceptions, and improvement opportunities
• Optimize dashboard performance, user experience, and data-refresh processes
• Establish reporting standards, governance, and technical documentation
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business review packages

GCP Data Engineering

• Design and optimize data-ingestion pipelines on Google Cloud Platform
• Develop ETL and ELT processes using data from enterprise applications, APIs, operational systems, and third-party sources
• Build analytical datasets, reporting marts, and curated data assets
• Use BigQuery and cloud-native services for scalable analytics
• Perform data transformation, quality validation, reconciliation, and monitoring
• Optimize storage and processing architectures for performance and scalability

KPI & Performance Analytics

• Partner with stakeholders to define KPI frameworks and metric standards
• Develop executive scorecards and operational-health dashboards
• Define leading and lagging indicators for productivity, quality, throughput, cycle time, SLA performance, exception rates, process efficiency, and operational risk
• Establish thresholds, targets, governance routines, and metric definitions
• Analyze trends and recommend process improvements

SPC & HITL Analytics

• Develop Statistical Process Control reporting for Human-in-the-Loop and operational processes
• Create monitoring for X-Bar Charts, Moving Range Charts, P-Charts, C-Charts, U-Charts, control limits, process capability, outliers, and variance
• Monitor process stability and distinguish common-cause from special-cause variation
• Automate alerts based on control limits and performance thresholds
• Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Partner with process owners and control teams to assess operational health and control effectiveness

Advanced Analytics & Insights

• Perform trend, forecast, and statistical analyses
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
• Develop executive narratives and data-backed recommendations
• Support AI, automation, observability, and process-intelligence initiatives
• Translate analytical findings into business and architectural recommendations

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and delivery reviews
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, product owners, enterprise architects, process intelligence teams, and control partners
• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide knowledge transfer and maintain technical documentation
