About the role
We are looking for a Senior Post Producer with the operational skill and steady judgment to deliver every project on time and on budget while holding craft to the highest level, even when time and budget are working against it. This role is the operational backbone of the post-production department, owning schedules, staffing, budgets, and workflows from editorial kickoff through final delivery. You will work directly with editors, producers, finishing artists, and creative leadership on one side, and with clients on the other, and you will be trusted to keep both groups confident that the work is on track. The strongest candidates for this role have earned that kind of trust before: clients who ask for them by name, and teams who want to be staffed on their projects. You do not need to be the most senior technical expert in the building but you should be highly organized. You need enough working knowledge of post-production tools and processes to plan realistically, staff correctly, catch problems early, and speak credibly to both internal teams and clients about what a project needs. M+C Saatchi SSK as part of M+C Saatchi Group has pledged its commitment to create a company that values difference, with an inclusive culture. As part of this M+C Saatchi Group continues to be an Equal Opportunity Employer which does not and shall not discriminate, celebrates diversity and bases all hiring and promotion decisions solely on merit, without regard for any personal characteristics. If you require any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment and selection process, please make us aware as part of your application. M+C Saatchi Group was founded in 1995 and is now the biggest Independent creative agency group in the World. Founded on one core principle, Brutal Simplicity.
But note we should remove EEO/equal-opportunity boilerplate. The paragraph includes EEO statement. That is boilerplate to remove. So we must remove that sentence. Also remove "If you require any reasonable adjustments..." that's accommodation statement, maybe also boilerplate? It's about reasonable adjustments; could be considered EEO-related. Safer to remove. Also remove "M+C Saatchi Group was founded in 1995..." maybe keep as company info; it's not boilerplate. Keep. Thus About the role paragraph: combine initial description and company founding sentence. Let's craft: We are looking for a Senior Post Producer with the operational skill and steady judgment to deliver every project on time and on budget while holding craft to the highest level, even when time and budget are working against it. M+C Saatchi Group was founded in 1995 and is now the biggest Independent creative agency group in the World. Founded on one core principle, Brutal Simplicity. Now Responsibilities: list from "What You'll Own". Bullets: - Post-production leadership: Oversee projects from editorial kickoff through final delivery. - Staffing and resource management: Own staffing and resourcing for the department. Build and maintain a strong network of freelance editors, assistant editors, motion designers, colorists, and finishing artists, and know who is right for which project based on creative need, timeline, and budget. Forecast staffing needs ahead of time rather than reacting to gaps. - Client and stakeholder relationships: Serve as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients throughout the post-production process. - Financial management: Build and manage project budgets, estimates, reconciliations, and forecasts. - Contract negotiation and oversight: Own the negotiation of post-production contracts and freelance agreements, ensuring terms protect the department on cost, usage rights, and delivery obligations while keeping timelines and working relationships intact. - Workflow and process: Bring a highly organized approach to all stages of post production, ingestion to delivery workflows, with a solid working understanding of each. We could split some long bullets but okay. Requirements: from Experience bullet list: - 8+ years of post-production producing or management/mentorship experience within an agency, production company, network, studio, or brand environment. - Highly organized, with a proven ability to run multiple simultaneous projects, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder groups at once, without losing track of any of them. - A real freelance network already in place: editors, motion designers, colorists, and finishing artists you can call on with confidence. - Working knowledge of post-production tools and platforms, sufficient to plan, staff, and troubleshoot effectively: Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition), LucidLink, Frame.io, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with AI-enabled creative and production tools. - Working understanding of media management, offline-to-online workflows, color pipelines, and audio post, enough to speak credibly about all of them even where you rely on specialists for execution. - Strong financial fundamentals, with real experience building and owning project budgets. - Experience negotiating vendor, freelance, or production contracts, with an eye for protecting cost, usage rights, and delivery terms. - Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus. Skills: maybe we can combine some of the above but we already have tools in Requirements. However Skills heading could contain the tools list. But we already have them in Requirements; maybe we should not duplicate. The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. If we put tools in Requirements, that's fine. Skills section could be omitted if no distinct content beyond what's already covered. But we have "Working knowledge of post-production tools and platforms..." which is a skill. Could keep under Skills. However we already have that bullet under Requirements; duplicating would be repeating info, which is allowed? It says preserve ALL substantive information; repeating is okay but maybe better to avoid duplication. We could move tools to Skills and keep other experience bullets under Requirements. Let's decide: Requirements: experience years, organized, freelance network, financial fundamentals, contract negotiation, language plus. Skills: tools knowledge, workflow understanding. That splits.
