Responsibilities
- Maintain an independent current and forward-looking view on the creditworthiness of each client and communicate this view to business and risk partners.
- Work closely with Credit Risk and Relationship Managers to actively manage the bank's exposure to the clients in the portfolio.
- Analyze historical financials and projections to ensure accurate risk ratings.
- Manage approval and documentation process for loan extensions, amendments, waivers and ancillary products, including treasury management, FX, interest rate derivatives, and commodity exposure.
- Understand and articulate industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Lead and contribute to high-level team meetings, providing strategic input on portfolio management strategies and organizational improvements.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives aimed at significantly enhancing portfolio management processes and systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate banking portfolio management; international lending experience or specialization is preferred.
- Subject matter expert level understanding of accounting, credit, structuring, underwriting and legal documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with business partners.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage a portfolio of commercial loans and ancillary credit exposure.
- Proactive monitoring of the business and early identification of emerging credit problems and industry/company trends.
- Client interaction and leading diligence calls.
- Collaborative approach to risk management and open exchange of ideas and opinions.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Leading the recruitment, training, and mentoring of junior team members.
- Creating and delivering comprehensive portfolio performance reports and presentations for senior management.
- Ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and integrity in system records and electronic files.
- Leading and contributing to high-level team meetings, providing strategic input on portfolio management strategies and organizational improvements.
- Leading special projects and strategic initiatives aimed at significantly enhancing portfolio management processes and systems.

Pay
Total Base Pay Range: $96,500.00 - $207,500.00 USD Annual
Schedule
Full-time position.
