Senior PMT-ES, Amazon Aurora
About the role
This role focuses on defining seamless user experiences across Amazon Aurora, which involves improving the getting started experience, query execution experience, building new experiences that better utilize generative AI, etc. In this position, you will play a pivotal role defining product requirements and tirelessly champion the needs of our customers. You'll work with our customers, partners, software vendors, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features, and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through expertly crafted business requirements documents.
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

- Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience
- 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
Qualifications
- Degree in advanced technology, or 10+ years of database (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
- Experience with database, data warehouse or data lake solutions
- Experience communicating with customers, technical, regulatory, business teams, and management to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs
- Experience with external customer interaction
- 3+ years of relevant professional or military work experience which occurred after completing your undergraduate program and prior to starting your MBA or master's program
Pay
- USA, CA, East Palo Alto: $175,000.00 - $236,800.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Redmond: $152,200.00 - $205,900.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $152,200.00 - $205,900.00 USD annually
