Senior Plumbing Designer (8+ yrs)

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing systems for offices, military construction, hospitals, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.
• Consult to architectural practices.
• Work on multi-discipline engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing plumbing systems for commercial buildings.
• B.A. or B.S. from an accredited college in related field.
• Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) or equivalent (preferred).
• Knowledge of relevant codes: mechanical, energy, plumbing.
• Proficient in CAD and BIM, including recognition of standards and the clash detection process.
• Able to train and assign work to Designers and CAD professionals.
• Able to design layouts, details, and overall system design for typical plumbing systems.
• Experienced with the latest release of AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD and BIM tools common to the discipline.
• Detail oriented, possess a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience designing plumbing systems for commercial buildings.
• B.A. or B.S. from an accredited college in related field.
• Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) or equivalent (preferred).
• Knowledge of relevant codes: mechanical, energy, plumbing.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.

Pay

Approximate Base Salary – $107,000.00 – $120,000.00, depending on experience.

Hybrid Work Schedule - Monday - Wednesday onsite, Thursday and Fridays are optional work-from-home. (Subject to change)
