Senior Platform Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features or enhance existing functionality of Secrets services.
• Apply engineering principles for defining robust and maintainable, highly secure and available cloud service.
• Adopt the OCI standard tools and DevOps standards, and practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve security, scalability, and resiliency of products and services.
• Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex problems.
• Collaborate broadly across multiple disciplines and organizations to deliver security solutions and features.

Qualifications

• Large/enterprise scale software development and engineering experience, particularly with cloud services and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience driving design, implementation and operation of cloud services.
• Designing for security, availability, scalability, observability, testability, operability.
• Experience collaborating with geo-distributed teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to all audiences.
• BS/CS Computer Science or equivalent field, and 3+ years software development experience in Java/C++ or similar OO language.
• Security specific knowledge and experience (Cryptography, HSMs etc) are preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals is helpful, but not required.

Pay

Hiring Range in USD from: $92,500 - $209,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
