Senior Platform Engineer – eCommerce & Intelligent Automation (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Implementation
• Build and enhance features on SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) and Spartacus-based storefronts
• Develop scalable, cloud-native solutions using AWS services
• Apply AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve delivery efficiency
• Contribute to intelligent automation patterns using AWS Bedrock and related services
• Optimize CDN and edge performance, including Akamai configuration and caching strategies
• Improve application performance across frontend, backend, and API layers
• Operations & Engagement
• Support production systems, including monitoring, triage, and issue resolution
• Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams
• Invest in continuous learning, training, mentorship, and overall team growth
• Participate in product team ceremonies & technical team planning sessions

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
• Certifications are a Preferred – Hybris, Akamai, AWS, AI, Other
• 6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on eCommerce platforms
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (CCV2) & Spartacus experience preferred
• Strong expertise in AWS and cloud-native development
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock or similar AI platforms
• Experience scaling GitHub Copilot and similar AI-assisted development tools
• Working knowledge of CDN concepts, including Akamai or similar platforms
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and integration patterns

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-scale retail or eCommerce environments
• Exposure to AI-driven commerce capabilities
• Knowledge of performance engineering and observability tools
• Familiarity with headless or composable commerce architectures
• Experience working in agile, multi-team environments
