It provides solutions tailored to small and medium-sized businesses to help them meet strict government regulations, managing sensitive data in a regulated environment. The company manages a large and complex AWS infrastructure with hundreds to thousands of accounts, emphasizing secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments. About the Opportunity:The SENIOR PLATFORM ENGINEER role is focused on maintaining and improving a large-scale AWS environment within a regulated setting. This position is responsible for ensuring the health and security of the cloud infrastructure, developing new platform features, and automating manual processes to support scalable growth. The engineer plays a key role in maintaining compliance through controlled change management and audit-ready operations, directly impacting the reliability and compliance of the platform. Responsibilities:Maintain hundreds to thousands of AWS accounts, including account creation, configuration, patching, and cost/log management.Develop, deploy, and maintain platform features, owning their lifecycle from design through production.Automate repetitive manual infrastructure tasks to reduce operational overhead.Extend infrastructure-as-code libraries and deployment pipelines for account management.Operate containerized workloads and associated platform services such as identity, networking, and virtual desktops.Utilize AI-assisted coding tools to enhance automation efforts.Monitor platform health and participate in incident response. Requirements:3–5 years of experience in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.Proficiency with AWS multi-account environments, including Organizations, IAM, networking, and container services.Production experience with infrastructure-as-code deployed across multiple environments.Proven ability to manage projects from conception to production.Skilled in Python, Go, or Bash for development of dependable tooling.Experience with both Linux and Windows Server environments, including directory services and group policies.Experience building or improving CI/CD pipelines.U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required due to regulated environment handling sensitive government data.
