About the role

This is a high-impact, multidisciplinary role for someone who thrives in growing startups, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is excited about working cross-team in a mission-driven organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and refine core infrastructure
  • Create safe, reliable, scalable, speedy, and secure paths for software and systems to reach production
  • Own the tooling that engineers use to build, test, and deploy code
  • Standardize pipelines, templates, guard rails, and golden paths to accelerate developer velocity
  • Introduce and improve internal tooling that reduces operational overhead
  • Streamline observability, monitoring, and operations
  • Strengthen infrastructure security
  • Implement best practices for secrets management, IAM, network security, vulnerability scanning, and container security
  • Build automated checks and secure-by-default workflows into CI/CD and cloud environments
  • Help establish the compliance and security practices that ensure ReflexAI meets industry and customer expectations

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and platform engineering roles
  • Deep hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (GCP and AWS) as well as Terraform and Terragrunt, CloudRun, Fargate, and managed Kubernetes
  • Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, guard rails, and golden paths for modern application stacks
  • Proficiency in modern observability ecosystems (Datadog experience is a major plus)
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, container security, and network architecture
  • Experience with and excitement about AI-driven development

Nice to have

  • Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment
  • Backend-related coding experience, primarily with Typescript
  • Background supporting machine learning, LLM serving, or data-intensive workloads
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, HITRUST) and knowledge of how this impacts infrastructure, reliability, and platform work
  • Prior experience building internal developer platforms or paved-path tooling

Who You Are

  • You thrive in environments where the best idea wins
  • You enjoy building tools and systems that increase the productivity of every engineer
  • You seek ownership and autonomy, but also value strong cross-team collaboration

What we offer

  • Some of the most rewarding work you will ever do, solving real problems and helping people be the best versions of themselves
  • Work alongside a team that is exceptionally smart and ambitious, but also humble and kind
  • Flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United States
  • Generous retirement, equity, healthcare, and PTO policies
