Join the Frontline of Innovation. Power the Mission. Quevera is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who’s ready to take on a mission-critical role in shaping cloud infrastructure and automation strategies in one of the most secure environments in the country.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement highly available, automated cloud environments using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code best practices, enabling consistent, repeatable deployments across all environments.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Ansible.
- Spearhead containerization and orchestration strategies with Docker and EKS.
- Collaborate in Agile teams, delivering solutions aligned to evolving mission goals.
- Lead with a problem-solver’s mindset, mentoring others and setting technical direction.
Requirements
- MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, EKS/ECS), and Terraform.
- Skilled in scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby) and automation workflows.
- Experienced with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Solid grasp of CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Comfortable in Linux environments, with strong networking and security fundamentals.
- Must hold CWIP IAT Level I certification.
- Minimum Education: A BS in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
