Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $168,000 – $210,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation and controllers, focusing on enhancing platform capabilities with development teams
• Contribute to platform architecture, collaborating with infrastructure engineers in GitOps and Kubernetes practices
• Engage in on-call support, troubleshoot complex service issues, and uphold security best practices
• Continuously identify and implement improvements based on current engineering trends and automation techniques
• Maintain thorough documentation of architecture and procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Platform Engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles; Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience managing production services with Kubernetes and GitOps/IaC across multiple clusters
• Hands-on experience with production workloads on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automation in Golang or Python
• Preferred: CKA/CKAD certification, familiarity with Istio/ArgoCD, deep networking/Linux knowledge, and monitoring tools experience
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools for business applications
• Must be a US citizen located in the USA
