Senior Planning Future Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex organizational data to develop optimal time, cost, and logistics networks for program implementation.
• Provide expert-level modeling and optimizing methods to assist management with strategic decision-making.
• Develops future-oriented logistics strategies in coordination with Government stakeholders to support OPLANs and CONPLANs.
• Provide specialized expertise regarding swift transitions from steady-state operations to contingency response within the INDOPACOM AOR.
• Approve and validate distribution plans that mitigate chokepoints and adversary A2/AD threats.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a relevant discipline or a related field, with 10+ years of position-relevant experience.
• Experience in formal document approval and acting as a functional lead for program deliverables.
• MA/MS in Operations Research, Data Analytics, Logistics, or a related field, with 12+ years of position-relevant experience.
• PMP certification.

Physical Requirements

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasional movement about inside the office is required to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
