Responsibilities

• Manage sophisticated cases from inception through resolution, including investigation, discovery, motion practice, negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Play a key role in managing complex personal injury matters, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in plaintiffs' medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, or complex personal injury matters.
• Work on substantial litigation against hospitals, healthcare systems, physicians, and other sophisticated defendants, alongside experienced trial attorneys.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island (required)
• Massachusetts bar admission strongly preferred
• 5+ years of litigation experience required; 10+ years preferred
• Experience handling plaintiff-side medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, or complex personal injury matters
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• OR Insurance defense, medical malpractice defense experience
• Experience managing cases independently from initial evaluation through trial
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of complex matters
• Strong commitment to client advocacy and achieving exceptional results

Qualifications
