Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to practice law in New York State
• A minimum of seven to ten years of litigation experience, with substantial hands-on experience specifically in medical malpractice matters
• Demonstrated first or second chair trial experience, including jury trials
• Strong command of New York medical malpractice procedure, discovery practice, and the use of medical experts and records in litigation
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills, including experience with motion practice and appellate-level briefing
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating closely with partners and support staff on complex matters
• A track record of favorable verdicts, settlements, or case outcomes in serious injury or malpractice litigation
• Clinical background (RN, PA, or similar) is a plus but not required

Pay

$150,000 - $200,000 per year
