About the role
Kleinfelder is seeking a Senior Pipeline Project Engineer to join our Energy team in Atlanta, GA. This role involves managing project delivery from initiation to closeout, developing client relationships, and ensuring project success.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manages all phases of project delivery including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, invoicing and closing.
- Develops and maintains client relationships.
- Works effectively with project support staff to monitor and control project to achieve financial target metrics for all projects.
- Effectively communicates technical information to practitioners, clients and laypersons.
- Mentors and coaches project team members and provides constructive feedback on team member performance.
- Executes project to meet or exceed client expectations while meeting industry standard of care.
- Follows and adheres to all federal and state regulations, client requirements and contracts, and company policies and procedures.
- Maintains and drives the Kleinfelder culture of safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of related pipeline experience.
- Working understanding of pipeline standards and industry accepted practices.
- Working knowledge of Natural Gas and Hazardous Liquids systems including engineering design and construction.
- Computer skills required: MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), AutoCAD 3D.
- Experience in the planning, design, engineering of natural gas pipelines, both distribution and transmission, is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree.
- Professional Engineer (PE).

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This role is a hybrid work schedule.
