Senior Physical Therapist

About the role
A Senior Physical Therapist is a key player in providing exceptional patient care, mentoring colleagues, and driving program development. This role includes all the responsibilities of a staff physical therapist, with additional leadership and mentorship duties. Expertise, leadership, and commitment to evidence-based practices will contribute to positive patient outcomes and team success.
This position is per diem and will work 8-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care using evidence-based practices.
- Mentor and support colleagues in clinical and professional development.
- Drive program development and contribute to team success.
- Fulfill all responsibilities of a staff physical therapist.
Requirements
- California Physical Therapist License (required upon hire).
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
- California Fire and Life Safety Card from a National Organization (required within 30 days of hire).
- 2 years of related experience.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) from an accredited program.
- Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) (required upon hire).
- Achieve clinical specialization certification relating to the clinical area of practice (required upon hire).
- 5 years of clinical experience.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $55.35 - $87.39 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
