Join the Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) Team as a Senior Program Manager, Implementation for the North American Region. You will lead a team of 6-9 Physical Security Program Managers, overseeing the launch of security technology installations across new Amazon warehouse and retail construction projects.

About the role

This role supervises compliance with physical security standards for Amazon construction projects and serves as the Subject Matter Expert in physical security infrastructure design and maintenance. You will coordinate planning, designing, and commissioning of security installations, partnering with approved security design firms to create project plans, finalize system designs, and select vendors. Success in this role requires deep knowledge and application of Amazon WWOS standards and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, educate, coach, and develop 6-9 remote-based Physical Security Program Managers across the AMER Region.
  • Own the success of all Physical Security technology launches within your area of responsibility, partnering with business stakeholders to remove barriers and enable team delivery.
  • Anticipate gaps and opportunities before they impact business initiatives, aligning teams to deliver scalable solutions for customers.
  • Foster and maintain critical partnerships with Construction Management, Loss Prevention, and Operations teams, providing expertise in Amazon WWOS policies, security design principles, and project scope requirements.
  • Influence change, drive innovation, and course-correct current processes by leveraging cross-functional partnerships and a deep understanding of business needs.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in organizational workflows, including establishing project charters, determining key deliverables, and championing team-based initiatives.
  • Remove bottlenecks and establish new benchmarks to achieve efficient outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Lead with autonomy and discretion, making high-judgment decisions that balance business needs with team capabilities.
  • Solicit and act on feedback for personal and team development, serving as a servant leader who prioritizes team growth and success.
  • Communicate change management effectively across the organization to ensure alignment and adoption of new processes and standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • 5+ years of team management experience.
  • 5+ years of cross-functional project delivery experience.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Experience managing teams of 3 or more.
  • Experience delivering cross-functional projects.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
  • Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience in cost/benefit analysis of project proposals.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Pay

  • USA, GA, Atlanta: $127,200.00 - $172,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, NC, Charlotte: $127,200.00 - $172,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, TN, Nashville: $114,500.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
