About the role

This position drives philanthropic initiatives focused on growth, donor acquisition, and measurable revenue impact within a mission-driven education, government, and non-profit organization. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements, directly influencing donor engagement, conversion, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a mixed portfolio of 100-125 donors and prospects for major and principal gifts.
  • Independently execute strategies for gifts between $100K and $500K; collaborate with AVP for larger solicitations.
  • Develop and drive $1M+ gift strategies in partnership with the AVP, ensuring shared ownership of strategies.
  • Meet assigned personal revenue goals, with expectations of $2.5M-$3M in the initial year and potential for growth.
  • Maintain a pipeline of 10-15 qualified $1M+ prospects consistently in cultivation.
  • Collaborate with AVP on strategy discussions to prioritize principal gift opportunities and solicitations.
  • Lead complex relationship management with high-net-worth individuals, navigating multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Craft and present intricate multi-asset gift strategies, including outright and planned gifts.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of major gift fundraising experience, with proven success in securing gifts over $500,000.
  • Ideally experienced in a matrixed, chapter-based organization.
  • Proven track record in developing $1M+ gift strategies and maintaining a qualified pipeline of prospects.
  • Collaborative and proactive work style, actively engaging with senior leadership on high-value accounts.
  • Strong relationship management skills across various stakeholders, including donors and volunteers.
  • Experienced with Salesforce or similar CRM software, emphasizing data-driven portfolio management.

Pay

$140,000 – $170,000 annually, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
