About the role
Seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician responsible for accurately filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and departments. The role involves managing oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders, and maintaining the automated dispensing system (ADS).
Responsibilities
- Perform duties related to medication preparation
- Ensure medication integrity
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge in multiple pharmacy specialties
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Oregon Pharmacy Technician certification or license
- Minimum of 2 years pharmacy practice in an integrated health system or 3 years in hospital pharmacy
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
Preferred qualifications
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program
- Advanced certifications
