About the role
The Senior Personnel Specialist functions as the staff specialist with responsibility for the duties associated with the institution’s Worker’s Compensation program. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within the department, other governmental agencies, health care partners, and communities.
- Interpret and apply complex labor laws, collective bargaining contracts, rules, and regulations.
- Research critical personnel transactions and recommend alternative solutions.
- Prioritize tasks, meet strict deadlines, and adapt to changing workloads under pressure.
