About the role
We are seeking a Senior Performance Marketer to drive elite Meta performance. The ideal candidate will live in Ads Manager, own Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and treat every dollar like it's their own. This role involves operating Meta ad accounts, structuring campaigns, optimizing for profit-aware ROAS/CAC targets, and translating performance signals into clear creative briefs.
Responsibilities
- Operate Meta ad accounts day-to-day across core brand and new offers, including account structure, campaign builds, audience strategy, bidding, budget pacing, and daily optimization.
- Structure, launch, and scale Meta campaigns with clear CAC and volume targets, ensuring profit-aware scaling.
- Build and execute structured testing roadmaps, generating and testing winning concepts for statics, UGC, and video.
- Work hand-in-hand with the cofounder to translate platform signal into briefs, run rigorous testing frameworks, and scale winners systematically.
- Review and challenge Google/YouTube agency performance weekly, aligning channel-level and blended CAC, MER, and payback goals.
- Ensure creative and learnings from Meta inform YouTube/Google, and vice versa, flagging tracking, attribution, and funnel issues impacting total new-customer growth.
- Conduct morning/mid-day/end-of-day checks when scaling, making real-time adjustments to budgets, bids, audiences, and creatives based on data.
- Maintain and harden Business Manager/account structures to handle platform volatility, policy changes, and unique compliance challenges of healthcare-adjacent advertising.
- Expand into adjacent channels like Google, YouTube, programmatic, and affiliate, applying the same operator discipline.
- Hire, mentor, and lead the Meta pod, building the bench that this hire is the seed of.
Requirements
- Proven scale on Meta (hands-on): You've personally operated Meta accounts at 100k+/month spend for DTC e-commerce brands, in the platform yourself every day.
- 5+ years of Meta-specific depth: You know the platform's quirks, policy landmines, bidding behavior, measurement nuances, and can hold a credible conversation about CBO vs ABO, account structure trade-offs, attribution windows, BAU vs incrementality, signal loss, and creative testing frameworks.
- DTC consumer scale-up background: You've grown brands, not maintained them, pushing spend month-over-month while keeping performance in band, and breaking through ceilings that other operators accept.
- Structured operator behaviors: Forecasting, weekly reporting cadence, explicit decision rules, written planning.
- Creative fluency: You think in concepts, hooks, formats, and angles, not just metrics. You can brief well, give sharp creative feedback, and design testing structures that produce learnings.
- Startup intensity: You measure yourself in outcomes, not hours, but the outcomes here require real intensity. You'll work 50+ hours/week, async, in a high-ownership culture.
