About the role
The Archaea Energy Senior Performance Analyst is a role within the Finance team supporting the VP Performance. This position combines strong financial acumen, analytical capability, and business insight to drive investment governance, performance management, and decision support across the organization. The role focuses on economic evaluation, business case development, and financial performance insights, while partnering closely across Finance, Commercial, Operations, and JV stakeholders to support value-driven decisions and enterprise performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support business cases, economic models, and investment evaluations for development, commercial and operational opportunities, ensuring compliance with bp governance standards.
- Provide financial insight and challenge to support capital allocation decisions, identifying risks, value drivers, and opportunities.
- Deliver financial and business performance insights across RNG plants, LFGTE plants, dairies and new Development and Commercial projects.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Performance, ST&S, Accounting, Commercial and Tax teams to align financial outputs with business drivers, supporting value creation and cash-generating activities.
- Prepare materials that provide insights to business performance at Archaea’s monthly business reviews.
- Support Joint Venture activities, including budget submissions, model updates, and partner deliverables.
- Provide analytical support for CFO and VP Performance priorities, including cross-functional initiatives, and executive-level materials.
- Maintain and enhance a robust, finance-led reserves-style process for forecasting landfill gas performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Data Science, Finance (preferred), Engineering or Science from an Accredited University.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Finance (preferred), Performance or Operations.
- Demonstrated track record as a self-starter, curious, coachable, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong degree of business acumen.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious.
- Demonstrated understanding of key business drivers (financial and operational) and how they relate to profitability.
- Capable of quickly learning and applying new concepts, processes and procedures.
- Strong verbal communication skills to present ideas clearly and distinctly across all levels of organization.
- Proven ability to manage demanding and often-changing workloads without impacting deadlines.
- Courage to challenge and progress complex issues.

Pay
$135,000 - $165,000 base compensation.
Schedule
This position is a hybrid of office/remote working.
Negligible travel should be expected with this role. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance.
