Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system solutions.
- Support PeopleSoft FSCM implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects with a focus on General Ledger and Commitment Accounting modules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, validate, and prioritize requirements.
- Create and maintain project deliverables, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, test plans, and training materials.
- Conduct end-to-end system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution activities.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support system configuration reviews and ensure alignment with business requirements and accounting standards.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment of system changes.
- Provide production support and assist with issue analysis and resolution.
- Maintain project documentation and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting PeopleSoft FSCM implementation or upgrade projects.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM General Ledger and Commitment Accounting modules.
- Strong understanding of state government accounting practices and financial processes.
- Experience creating business analysis deliverables, including requirements documentation, process flows, and test scripts.
- Experience conducting end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing.
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Texas state agency PeopleSoft FSCM (CAPPS Financials) environments.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience using Jira for project and issue tracking.
- Experience with SharePoint Lists and Microsoft Teams collaboration tools.
- Experience with Phire change management and migration tools.
