About the role

Maven Clinic is seeking an Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to support the Operations team and other parts of the business. This role will partner closely with managers and leaders on team engagement, performance management, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the HRBP team, managers and functional leaders to support employee engagement, team performance, and organizational effectiveness
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, development conversations, and team dynamics
  • Manage employee relations issues and investigations for the teams you support
  • Execute core people programs including performance reviews, compensation cycles, engagement survey action plans, and talent planning processes
  • Analyze people trends and employee feedback to identify insights and actions
  • Use people analytics, business insights, and employee feedback to identify trends, assess organizational health, and drive engagement and retention strategies
  • Persistently improve people processes and contribute to scaling people practices across the organization
  • Use AI tooling to automate manual workflows and increase your strategic impact
  • Build trusted relationships with employees and managers through responsive, thoughtful partnership
  • Contribute to broader People Team initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR Business Partner, People Operations, Talent Management, or related HR roles
  • Experience partnering with managers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational rigor around data management and documentation
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in ambiguity
  • Enthusiasm for a start-up environment
  • Working knowledge of performance management, employee relations, and talent processes
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using people data and insights to inform recommendations
  • Strong judgment, empathy, and ability to build trust across all levels of the organization

Qualifications

  • Healthcare or healthcare technology experience is a plus, but not required
  • Experience supporting a front-line workforce is a plus but not required

Pay

$140,000 - $165,000 per year

Schedule

3 days in-office per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
