About the role
The Senior People & Culture Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the People & Culture Department and implementing the People & Culture strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- Offering professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Promoting positive Colleague relations through open communication and trust
- Supporting full-cycle recruitment activities within the People & Culture department
- Managing benefits, benefits billing, and open enrollment
- Enforcing management guidelines and preparing, updating, and recommending People & Culture policies and procedures
- Cooking training sessions and supporting various committees
- Providing service and support to all colleagues regarding benefit plans
- Working with Payroll to ensure accurate payroll records
- Supporting all department managers with questions and colleague activities
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Promoting positive Colleague relations through open communication and trust
- Serving as a resource for all colleagues of the hotel, assisting in resolving colleague questions, complaints, or issues
- Ensuring all payroll records are up to date on a bi-weekly basis
- Supporting the management of short-term disability, long-term disability, FMLA, leave of absence, and workers' compensation claims
- Engaging in full-cycle recruitment activities within the People & Culture department
- Supporting the coordination of benefit information seminars
- Managing benefits, benefits billing, and open enrollment
