Location: Pennington, New Jersey (Hybrid – minimum three days per week onsite). Alternative work locations may include Plano, Texas or Charlotte, North Carolina. Visa sponsorship is not available. Selected candidates must meet a specific start date.
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Pega Developer to design, develop, and support complex Pega CLM solutions. This role involves leading the implementation of Trigger Based Refresh and modernization activities, driving application performance optimization, and mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support complex Pega CLM solutions.
- Lead implementation of Trigger Based Refresh and modernization activities.
- Develop integrations with enterprise systems, databases, and external services.
- Drive application performance optimization, resiliency, and security improvements.
- Implement Pega best practices, guardrail compliance, and reusable framework components.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams.
- Partner with business, QA, platform, and vendor teams to accelerate solution delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 10 years of software development experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on Pega development (required).
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Pega applications (required).
- Expertise in Pega CLM, Case Management, Flows, and Integrations (required).
- Experience with Java, REST APIs, SQL, XML, and Enterprise Application Integration (required).
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization capabilities for large-scale Pega applications (required).
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification (required).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies (required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Experience in the Financial Services, AML, or KYC domain.
- Experience with Pega Constellation, Blueprint, and GenAI capabilities.
- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification.
