Senior Payroll Specialist

Location: Sapulpa, OK

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000

About the role

Our client is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their accounting team. This role will handle payroll processing across multiple entities while supporting payroll accounting, reconciliations, and other accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple legal entities
• Handle both U.S. and international payroll processing
• Process weekly and biweekly payrolls
• Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries
• Reconcile payroll accrual and related General Ledger accounts
• Review payroll information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Support payroll reporting and other accounting-related tasks as needed
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience
• Experience processing payroll for multiple entities
• Preferred experience with both U.S. and international payroll
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient with Excel and accounting software
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team
