About the role
We're looking for an experienced Patent Agent who enjoys working with innovative clients and sophisticated technologies.
Responsibilities
- Draft and prosecute Canadian and foreign patent applications
- Develop patent portfolio strategies
- Advise on patentability and freedom-to-operate
- Work closely with inventors and engineering teams
- Collaborate with foreign associates
Requirements
- Registered Canadian Patent Agent
- 10+ years of patent experience
- Strong technical background, preferably in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, industrial systems, robotics, or related fields
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills
Qualifications
- U.S. Patent Agent qualification is an asset
