Spiritual Leadership

Prepare and deliver Christ-centered, Bible-based sermons each week, two Sunday Services and one Wednesday Service. Collaborate with ministerial staff and music leader to coordinate a cohesive and spiritually meaningful, weekly worship service. Prepare Bible studies and teachings that are biblically sound and relevant to our congregation. Develop, execute, and communicate the church’s mission and vision by aligning ministerial activities with the church’s overall goals for spiritual and physical growth.

Pastoral Care

• Provide spiritual guidance and counseling to our congregation and our community.
• Participate in visitation with our shut-in members in hospitals, nursing homes and private residences and bereaved families.
• Offer support and prayer during these visits to provide comfort and spiritual care.
• Reach out to visitors, new members and newly baptized members with either a call or a visit to provide spiritual guidance.
• Organize a Sunday Communion Service along with the church deacons regularly.
• Attend Special Church events such as VBS, Fall Festival and Revivals.
• Promote and foster a sense of community within the congregation.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive church environment for all attendees.

Job Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in pastoral ministry in a role that involved preaching.
• Currently an ordained minister.
