Senior Partnership Manager (News) - TikTok Operations - New York

About the role

The Content Partnerships team at TikTok accelerates the growth of top global media accounts through strategic partnerships, content development, and providing best-in-class service. The Partnerships Manager (News) reports to the Head of Publisher, News team.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging content areas and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to build and refine strategies for driving business goals and scaled content impact for TikTok and partners.
• Channel partners' business needs and priorities into opportunities for strategic growth and product innovation.
• Analyze global publishers' content performance on TikTok, provide strategic recommendations, and manage daily interactions with publishers (both North America and globally).
• Develop and execute central content strategies and relationship management for corresponding partner stakeholders.
• Co-manage partners' content portfolios by working closely with Product, Creator, Ad Sales, and Business Development teams to align with company priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience across media, data, partnerships, and strategy, with expertise in content operations, data analysis, and strategic planning.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data storytelling skills, with a deep understanding of key metrics and measurements in Content Operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate complex projects and articulate key issues to stakeholders.
• Understanding of TikTok's positioning in the social media landscape and the ability to sell the unique value it provides to partners.
• Bachelor's degree required; MS/MA/MBA and/or content platform experience considered a plus.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (Annually): The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $108,800 - $288,000 annually. Additional details about compensation, benefits, and the hiring process can be found here.
