About the role
SIRUM is expanding to Chicago, a major milestone in our mission to connect every person with the medications they need to stay healthy.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate high-leverage partnerships with healthcare providers (FQHCs, safety-net clinics, hospitals) and community-based organizations across Chicago metro, with a focus on organizations serving families in lower-income communities
- Lead conversations with senior decision-makers (CEOs, Medical Directors, Program Directors) and adapt SIRUM's pitch to each
- Steer partnership models that range from patient referral relationships to white-label pharmacy solutions through Good Pill
- Guide partner organizations through implementation and staff training
- Ensure a clean handoff to the Partner Success Team after partnership launch
- Capture institutional knowledge into a replicable Chicago playbook
- Map Chicago's healthcare and social-service landscape and identify the highest-leverage referral nodes
- Represent SIRUM at community events, health fairs, and professional convenings
Requirements
- Chicago-based, with substantial experience across the city's healthcare and social-service ecosystem
- 15+ years of experience in primary healthcare or community-services settings (FQHC, safety-net clinic, hospital, public health) as a social worker, care coordinator, LCSW, community health worker, or similar role
- Have managed workflows for low-income, uninsured, or underinsured populations and understand the operational and clinical trade-offs that come with that
- Track record of building cross-functional relationships across the org chart
- Highly autonomous: can run a pipeline, prioritize your time, and report up cleanly without daily oversight
Qualifications
- Experience in primary healthcare or community-services settings (FQHC, safety-net clinic, hospital, public health) as a social worker, care coordinator, LCSW, community health worker, or similar role
Skills
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of healthcare and social service systems
