Senior Paralegal

Join us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world. This role supports the Legal M&A team at Trane Technologies, managing and maintaining electronic records, coordinating with attorneys, drafting documents, and supporting regulatory filings.
Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining electronic records/files, particularly electronic M&A closing sets and key transaction documents
- Drafting preliminary transaction documents (like NDAs and LOIs) and various corporate documents
- Coordinating with attorneys and other functions/teams regarding M&A closing processes and logistics
- Tracking signatures, closing binders, and post-closing deliverables and deadlines
- Supporting the preparation and submission of regulatory filings
- Attending to post-closing matters, including internal flow of relevant information and documents to other functions/teams
- Providing related administrative support to the attorneys, including:
- Managing outside counsel matter set-up and invoice processing through internal e-billing system
- Preparing various reports, PowerPoint presentations, proofreading memos, and other administrative functions
- Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel
- Managing Legal M&A team’s expense reports, invoices, and outside counsel billing review
Requirements
- Minimum 3-7 years of relevant corporate paralegal experience in an in-house legal or law firm environment; experience supporting corporate M&A attorneys a plus
- Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated track record of interacting with all levels of management, staff, and outside contacts in a discreet, courteous, and professional manner
- Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work cohesively with others
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure and time constraints
- High level of motivation and initiative, a team approach, and the ability to communicate clearly
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Experience using AI-assisted legal tools preferred but not required

- Annual Base Salary Range: $84,740.00 - $137,200.00
- Compensation Type: Exceptional Hourly

$84,740.00 - $137,200.00 annually
Schedule
Monday to Thursday, work onsite with colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
