Senior Paralegal
About Equity Legal LLP
Equity Legal LLP has been an established presence in San Diego real estate law for over a decade. Homeowners, investors, brokers, and referring attorneys throughout the county bring us their property disputes and complex transactions. We handle both sides of real estate law: litigation from pre-demand through trial, and the purchases, leases, and agreements that keep our clients' properties moving forward. We are actively modernizing how a real estate law firm operates, and we are hiring a Senior Paralegal to sit at the center of our practice and quarterback our active caseload. Our attorneys rely on this role to keep every matter moving efficiently, court filings clean and compliant, and clients informed.
What You Will Own
- Litigation Calendar: Accurately tracking, verifying, and managing court dates, statutory deadlines, and filing schedules.
- Court Filings & Service: Preparing and executing e-filings, coordinating service of process, and resolving court rejections smoothly.
- Discovery Support: Finalizing responses, organizing exhibits, handling Bates stamping, and overseeing document productions.
- Transactional Support: Assisting with purchase and workout agreements, escrow coordination, and recording documents.
- Communication: Professional interaction with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Strong California litigation experience, ideally combined with exposure to real estate matters.
- Composure & Focus: Ability to stay calm, clear-headed, and organized around court deadlines.

Technology & Modern Workflows
We leverage modern legal tools, including Clio, InfoTrack, and AI-assisted workflows, actively integrated into our daily practice. You do not need to be a technologist, but you do need to be tech-forward, open to learning new platforms, and willing to work alongside software designed to eliminate repetitive administrative burdens.
