Senior Palo Alto Cloud Network Engineer

About the role

Design, deploy, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments. Implement and manage Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls to secure enterprise cloud environments. Configure, deploy, and support F5 BIG-IP LTM and ASM solutions within AWS and Azure cloud platforms. Collaborate with product owners, application teams, network engineers, and security teams to design and deliver secure cloud infrastructure solutions. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration and performance issues across development, testing, and production environments. Design and implement Zero Trust security architectures using Palo Alto technologies. Develop and maintain cloud security architectures that align with enterprise security standards and industry best practices. Configure and manage Panorama for centralized firewall management, policy administration, threat prevention, and log analysis. Implement cloud monitoring, logging, auditing, and compliance controls to support regulatory and security requirements. Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with security frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, PCI, SOX, CMMC, and other applicable standards. Design and maintain secure VPN connectivity, high-availability configurations, and cloud traffic routing. Support cloud infrastructure automation, security operations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Document cloud security architectures, deployment procedures, operational processes, and incident reports. Provide technical guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient cloud solutions. Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, cybersecurity trends, and infrastructure best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of equivalent experience as a Palo Alto Cloud Engineer.
• Palo Alto, AWS, or Azure certification is required.
• 10+ years of experience in network security and engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, upgrading, troubleshooting, and optimizing Palo Alto VM-Series firewalls in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with Panorama management, security policy design, threat prevention tuning, and log analysis.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Zero Trust security architectures.
• Minimum 5 years of experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining F5 BIG-IP LTM solutions.
• Experience designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security design, operations, automation, and infrastructure management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
