Senior Paid Social Strategist
About the Role
The Senior Paid Social Strategist leads the strategy, execution, and performance of paid social campaigns across multiple clients, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise. You will own your accounts end to end, translating data into actionable insights and driving measurable business impact with a high degree of autonomy. You will partner closely with Account and Project Management teams, mentor junior team members, and help improve the processes that keep our programs scalable. Success means consistently improving performance against client KPIs while communicating proactively and surfacing risks early.
Responsibilities
- Own performance across multiple paid social accounts, ensuring alignment with client business goals and KPIs
- Develop and execute full-funnel paid social strategies focused on efficiency, scale, and conversion, and translate campaign data into clear, actionable insights
- Build and manage scalable campaign structures across platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn, leveraging advanced features like automated rules, experiments, and optimization tools
- Implement structured testing strategies across creative, audience, and bidding to continuously improve results
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tracking, attribution, bidding strategies, and platform delivery
- Deliver clear, insight-driven reporting that connects performance to business outcomes and informs future strategy
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication, strategic guidance, and confident, solutions-oriented recommendations
- Proactively identify performance risks and surface blockers early with clear mitigation plans
- Take full ownership of assigned accounts, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines without requiring senior intervention
- Contribute to scoping, planning, prioritization, documentation, and process improvements that increase scalability and consistency
- Mentor junior team members on execution, strategy, and platform best practices, and support a collaborative, high-performing team
- Identify opportunities for account growth and support the development of case studies, campaign narratives, and marketing materials
Requirements
- 4–6 years of paid media experience, with agency experience preferred
- Proven experience managing paid social campaigns with measurable performance outcomes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn
- Experience with testing strategies, attribution, and performance optimization
Nice to Have
- Experience in higher education and/or eCommerce verticals
- Platform certifications (Meta Blueprint, LinkedIn Marketing Labs, or equivalent)
- Experience with TikTok Ads, TikTok Shop, and social commerce
