About the role
The Senior Paid Media Manager will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of client work across performance marketing channels, whilst supporting across new business opportunities. They will own all client roadmaps and constantly look for new opportunities to deliver growth for our clients while balancing our own commercial success.
Responsibilities
- Supports our mission to work with leading eCommerce brands by developing and delivering compelling pitches, maintaining the highest quality and aiming for successful outcomes
- Identifies and capitalises on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell additional services to existing clients, enhancing overall service offerings and revenue
- Oversees resource planning and scopes of work to ensure we are delivering excellence whilst maintaining efficiency
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of financial management and forecasting, leading on wider client business forecasting (CAC, LTV etc.) to ensure long-term growth for clients
- Takes accountability for ensuring there are no issues around spend or performance
- Develops a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses, core functions, and competitors, and facilitates Vervaunt's engagement with senior stakeholders
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients built on trust to ensure Vervaunt is embedded within the client teams and is integral to strategy and business objectives
- Maintains a client-centric approach with the ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions
- Supports and guides their teams in the creation and implementation of leading-class performance marketing strategies (Initially subordinates will be remote in the UK)
- Collaborates with our strategy and international lead to ensure the UK team are skilled in building compelling narratives for the US market, elevating the quality of strategic direction
- Ensures that new US team members are effectively onboarded with comprehensive training programs and fosters a best-in-class team by supporting ongoing development opportunities as the team expands
- Demonstrates ability to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights to drive strategic decisions
- Maintains a forward-thinking approach to encourage fresh ideation and to push the business and its outputs forward
- Stays curious about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep the team at the forefront of performance marketing
- Approaches challenges with intellectual curiosity and creative thinking to develop innovative solutions
- Proactively contributes to marketing initiatives as and when required to support the growth of the market, including idea identification, blog post writing, and speaking at industry events
- Takes full ownership of your client and team's success and the achievement of strategic objectives
- Demonstrates a passion for excellence in all aspects of your work
- Plays an active role in the recruitment process by identifying talent needs and conducting interviews
Qualifications
- Proven track record in managing and delivering high-quality performance marketing campaigns
- Experience in managing multiple accounts and clients simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to manage budgets and forecast financial performance
- Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics used in performance marketing
- Experience in using performance marketing tools and platforms
- Understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
- Passion for innovation and a willingness to stay current with industry trends and technologies
