Senior Oracle Planning Functional Consultant :: Remote :: Hot Requirement

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Oracle EPM Planning Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation and support of enterprise Oracle Cloud EPM Planning and Hyperion Planning solutions. You'll work closely with Finance, FP&A and business leaders to understand budgeting, forecasting and planning needs and translate them into practical Oracle Planning solutions. This role is highly functional and requires someone who can comfortably lead workshops, define requirements and work with technical teams through implementation and production support.

What You'll Do

• Lead discovery and requirements workshops with Finance, FP&A and business stakeholders
• Design and configure Oracle Cloud EPM Planning / Hyperion Planning applications
• Support planning across Financials, Workforce, Capital and Projects
• Design planning models for P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, revenue, expenses, headcount and CapEx
• Define planning drivers, assumptions, allocations, calculations and spreading methods
• Configure dimensions, hierarchies, metadata, forms, dashboards, navigation flows and approval workflows
• Define functional requirements for business rules, calculations and allocations
• Work with technical teams on data integrations, metadata loads, business rules and reporting
• Support integrations with Oracle ERP, HCM, data warehouses and other source systems
• Support Smart View, ad hoc analysis and management reporting
• Lead SIT/UAT, defect resolution, deployment, cutover and post-go-live support
• Troubleshoot planning, calculations, data loads, security and workflow issues
• Provide user training, documentation and recommendations for process improvements
• Work with Finance stakeholders and EPM technical teams to deliver enhancements and support quarterly Oracle Cloud releases

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of Oracle EPM / Hyperion experience
• Strong hands-on functional experience with Oracle Cloud EPM Planning and Hyperion Planning
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise Oracle Planning solutions
• Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
• Experience with P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Workforce/Headcount and CapEx planning
• Experience with one or more Planning frameworks: Financials, Workforce, Capital or Projects
• Strong knowledge of dimensions, metadata, planning forms, workflows, dashboards and security
• Functional understanding of business rules, calculations, allocations and planning assumptions
• Experience with Smart View, data integration and EPM reporting
• Strong experience working directly with Finance/FP&A stakeholders and senior business users
• Experience leading requirements gathering, UAT, cutover and post-production support

Preferred Skills

• Oracle Cloud EPM certification
• Oracle EPM modules such as FCCS, ARCS, EDM, Narrative Reporting or PCM
