Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Oracle Technical Lead

Responsibilities

  • Lead feature delivery for HR analytics, including technical design, development, testing, and migration of Oracle objects.
  • Mentor and provide technical direction to a team of offshore developers and act as liaison for production activities.
  • Develop complex ETL and data models in a data warehousing environment for FTE, headcount, and leadership reporting.
  • Participate in status meetings, track progress, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Champion coding, quality, unit testing, release procedures, documentation protocols, and change management standards.
  • Implement enterprise data quality and data protection standards and ensure compliance with data governance.
  • Identify data anomalies and patterns in large datasets and drive continuous improvement of database scalability and performance.
  • Use Git/Bitbucket for version control and set up automation jobs with Autosys.
  • Advance Agile delivery practices including automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of data warehousing, including efficient manipulation and transformation of large data volumes.
  • 6+ years with Oracle RDBMS, SQL, and PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and VPD security.
  • Advanced analytical, debugging, and critical thinking skills with demonstrable risk identification.
  • Experience with TOAD, Unix shell scripting, Autosys, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in Master Data Management concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Agile Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, and CI/CD release processes.
  • Experience with large data domains such as Global HR, Global Finance, or Real Estate; finance data domain exposure is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML and big data analytics technologies and integrations.
  • Git/Bitbucket proficiency and Autosys job scheduling expertise.
