About the role

Act as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. Recommend improvements for the business analysis process. Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues while maintaining data integrity within the application.

Research tools to identify those that can best help serve the needs of clients. Gather requirements, analyze, create design documents, and perform impact analysis for application changes. Plan and organize tasks, report progress, manage and coordinate with consultants for implementations. Develop solutions to leverage Oracle HCM applications functionality with a primary focus on configuring Oracle Learning Cloud, Performance Management, Goal Setting, Career Development, Succession Planning, and Talent Review.

Review and analyze quarterly and monthly releases and collaborate with business partners to prioritize features and enhancements that improve employee experience and/or create operational efficiencies. Create and monitor Oracle Service Requests to resolve application issues. Lead user sessions for requirements and testing. Guide the technical team in the development of reports, conversions, interfaces, and extensions. Understand and modify the Application Configuration as required (includes system setups, flex-fields, workflow builder, profile options, etc.).

Work with management and business partners to identify, prioritize, and implement application enhancements. Assist users with problems and resolve issues independently. Create test plans, test cases, test scripts, and perform functional testing. Create and maintain system documentation. Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues. Provide business reports to management and clients. Assist with projects as required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the work. Attend management meetings on behalf of the team. Provide training and documentation for supported applications.

This position is located at our Cleveland Headquarters office and is not hybrid/remote. It is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to an H1-B visa. Multiple job openings are available.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for business process, policy, and system changes.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to the business analysis process.
  • Configure and support Oracle HCM modules, including Oracle Learning Cloud, Performance Management, Goal Setting, Career Development, Succession Planning, and Talent Review.
  • Perform impact analysis, create design documents, and manage application changes.
  • Plan, organize, and report on tasks; coordinate with consultants for implementations.
  • Review and prioritize quarterly and monthly Oracle Cloud releases for enhancements.
  • Create and monitor Oracle Service Requests to resolve application issues.
  • Lead user sessions for requirements gathering and testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience as an Oracle Applications Analyst, Technical Architect, Consultant, or related role.

Skills

  • Five (5) years in Information Technology supporting enterprise cloud systems, including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and release validation within Oracle HCM Fusion.
  • Five (5) years of hands-on Oracle HCM application experience within the Talent Management suite, including Performance Management, Goal Management, Talent Review, Succession Planning, and Oracle Learning Cloud (configuration, setup, and ongoing support).
  • Three (3) years designing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle HCM Performance and Goals processes, including performance template configuration, eligibility profile creation, goal plan setup, document period management, and mass-assignment processes.
  • Experience executing structured testing and release management for quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, including regression testing, defect documentation, UAT coordination, and validation of Talent Management downstream impacts.
  • Experience developing and validating OTBI and BI Publisher reports for Talent Management operations, including performance cycle tracking, eligibility audits, goal completion metrics, and compliance reporting.
  • Utilization of established software development and support methodologies, including Agile enhancement cycles, structured regression testing frameworks, quarterly Oracle Cloud release management, and ITIL-aligned incident and change management processes.
