Senior Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Operations Supervisor role is located at our Rome, GA plant and involves leading production operations, driving continuous improvement, enhancing safety and quality, and coaching and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Operations – Direct all activities for assigned production line(s) to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals while adhering to established standards and procedures.
• Drive Continuous Improvement – Identify and eliminate cost and waste by applying Kellanova Work Systems (KWS/TPM) principles and leading site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enhance Safety And Quality – Implement best practices for safety, quality, and equipment reliability, using problem-solving and root cause analysis to address operational challenges.
• Coach And Develop Teams – Build team capability by coaching employees, supporting pillar/grassroots teams, and fostering a culture of accountability and inclusion.
• Optimize Performance – Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans based on downtime, inventory, and demand fluctuations while minimizing unplanned downtime through effective equipment management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing safety and/or quality programs and processes
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives (KWS/TPM or equivalent systems)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results in a fast-paced environment
• Experience coaching and developing frontline teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications

• Annual Salary Range: $77,000 - $101,010

Pay

The annual salary range is $77,000 - $101,010, based on various factors such as location, experience, and skill.

Schedule

This is an on-site, night shift position (4:30 PM – 5:30 AM; flexibility required).
