Senior Operations Specialist - FX Services

About the Role

The Senior Operations Specialist position in FX Services supports all functional areas of FX trading. This individual is a subject matter expert with technical mastery, performing functions beyond regular duties such as security coordination, project management, BCP coordination, and trading desk liaison with the sub-custodian network.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert with total command of a specific area or process within the FX support arena.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency in all systems used within the area of support.
• Be recognized by areas outside of FX and by clients as a key member of the FX support team.
• Enhance the productivity of the unit through process improvement.
• Review and update processes and procedures to align with new programs.
• Coordinate system access.
• Act as a Disaster Recovery representative.
• Manage projects.
• Serve as a liaison with the sub-custodian network.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2 to 3 years of industry experience.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Aptitude for analytical and problem resolution.
• Self-starter with a proactive and objective-oriented mindset.
• Enthusiastic leadership skills and ability to engage others.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Pay

NJ: $85,000 - $95,000 base salary + annual target bonus. BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing, with variations based on location, skill, experience, and qualifications.
