Senior Operations Specialist

About the role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist in Community Banking. In this role, you will partner with group managers to design and implement strategic data to meet group or company goals. You will perform complex statistical analysis and apply analysis to initiatives that support business strategies, process broad-based technical and business knowledge to anticipate emerging issues, recommend subsequent strategies and business directions, manage or participate on large cross-group projects, make decisions on matters with some financial impact and risk, and collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with group managers to design and implement strategic data to meet group or company goals
• Perform complex statistical analysis and apply analysis to initiatives that support business strategies
• Process broad-based technical and business knowledge to anticipate emerging issues
• Recommend subsequent strategies and business directions
• Manage or participate on large cross-group projects
• Make decisions on matters with some financial impact and risk
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements

• 4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of risk management principles, governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations
• Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends and emerging risks, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Experience leading root cause analysis, issue management, corrective action plans, and risk mitigation initiatives
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present complex risk topics clearly to senior leaders
• Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and drive accountability in a matrixed environment
