What You Will Do
- Supervise and lead a team of Operations Program Leads supporting multiple customer programs.
- Develop and execute recovery plans for overdue part numbers, ensuring clear actions, ownership, and timelines.
- Present program performance, recovery plans, and key risks to leadership and customers.
- Monitor program metrics and drive actions to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
- Lead customer visits and coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure successful engagements.
- Partner with Operations, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Supply Chain teams to meet customer commitments.
- Drive timely implementation of Engineering Changes (ECs), Change Requests (CRs), Deviations, and other configuration updates to prevent supply disruptions.
- Carry out regular customer and internal program reviews, communicating progress, priorities, and mitigation plans.
- Mentor Operations Program Leads while supporting workload prioritization, process execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, and reports while identifying operational risks and driving corrective actions to ensure program success.
Qualifications You Must Have
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing technical or operational teams.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, and program execution.
- Experience managing customer-facing operational programs within the aerospace or defense industry.
- Ability to drive multiple priorities while meeting aggressive timelines.
- Experience coordinating Engineering Changes (ECs), Change Requests (CRs), and configuration management activities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems such as SAP.
- Leverage Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma experience (a plus).
