Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze order volumes and shipping deadlines
• Create effective waves using WMS
• Monitor real-time progress of picking waves
• Adjust wave release timing to avoid bottlenecks
• Properly allocate labor across waves
• Work closely with: Inventory control, Picking and packing teams, Outbound teams
• Ensure smooth transitions between operational steps
• Use WMS or ERP systems to trigger waves, track status, and troubleshoot issues
• Track metrics like wave completion times, order accuracy, throughput efficiency
• Report issues or delays and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Strong understanding of warehouse processes
• Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, SAP EWM, Oracle)
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments

Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I)

• National salary range: $85,000 - $100,000
• California and Washington range: $85,000 to $110,000

• Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and develop team; implement efficient workflows; develop standard processes; foster safety culture; compile KPI reports; partner with HR and cross-functional teams; engage with customers
• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred; 1+ years logistics industry experience required; 2+ years supervisory or management experience required; P&L management, objective setting, and project management experience preferred
