Minimum Qualifications
- Graduated from an Accredited Nursing School or 2 years of experience working in a correctional institution or industry that serves correctional institutions or 5+ years of dialysis management experience.
- Management of clinical employees in a leadership role for at least 3 years.
- CURRENT CPR Certification (or within 3 months of hire).
- CLEAN background and credit required.
Required Skills And Competencies
- Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.
- Ability to quickly learn a variety of technical systems and equipment.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Leadership
- Assumes "ownership mentality" of each facility in their region.
- Maintains full oversight for operational efficiency, clinical excellence, customer service/relationship-development, financial prudence, and regional leadership.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and coaching for all direct reports and clinical staff to maintain an engaged and productive workforce.
- Ensures all employees in the region receive the required training and education according to company policy and compliance with continued education.
- Acts as conduit of information from senior leadership team to on-site staff.
- Implements and lead weekly meetings with unit leads to discuss unit goals and objectives, share corporate communication, and find solutions to issues that units may be facing.
- Implements operational efficiency improvements which may include, but are not limited to, the standardization of systems, quality control, safety, and employee and patient satisfaction.
- Interprets and implements company policies and procedures and directs and plans the activities of the assigned region to ensure continuing dialysis service program operations, to increase productivity.
Recruiting
- Create labor requirement projections and the corresponding hiring plans.
- Works directly with Talent Team to plan for and execute hiring plans.
- Provides final approval of hiring decisions based on interviews and unit lead recommendation.
- Responsible for the overall control of planning, staffing, staffing expense, and implementing changes to avoid overtime and agency usage.
- Ensures that budgets and schedules meet and do not exceed corporate staffing ratios and requirements by states the units reside.
- Quickly identifies sub-standard/underperforming employees to improve performance or replace.
- Oversees training for entire team (NMs, RNs, CCHTs, etc.).
- Performs annual performance reviews of unit leads accurately and fairly according to company policies, core values, and performance of the respective units they oversee.
- Disciplinary Action / Performance Plan Initiation: Review of Unit Lead report Performance of investigation/follow-up Completion and submission of documentation/action plan
Clinical
- Ensures the provision of outstanding patient care while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory and company requirements and standards.
- Responsible for clinical performance of dialysis programs within the region, ensuring that units achieve or exceed key clinical performance indicators.
- Oversees the implementation of and adherence to CQI quality goals and action plans to exceed the company's quality standards.
- Completes thorough audits in line with company audit schedules and promptly develop corrective action plans to address any deficiencies.
- Maintains ownership of patient outcomes across region: Infection rate Kt/V URR AMA rate Refusal Rate Etc.
- Generates in-servicing and skill checks for all staff members in region.
- Oversight of safety measures implemented in all facilities.
- Oversight of Labs:
Financial
- Approves Unit Lead roster submissions.
- Maintains financial control of all facilities within region mostly through expense management (staffing/supply utilization/etc.) but also through maximizing revenues (reduction in treatment refusals/lobbying client for a greater census/etc.).
- Owns financial responsibility for all timecard accuracy and time variance form usage within region.
- Oversee the control and effective utilization of company resources.
- Submits timely and accurate expense reporting to supervisor.
Inventory/Supply Management
- Oversee the accurate and timely submission of supply inventory reporting to Supply Purchasing Team.
- Controls the supply purchase cadence and volume for all units in region based upon collaboration with Supply Purchasing Team.
- Maintains responsibility for ensuring that all facilities have adequate supply inventories on hand, that no supplies are expired, and that emergency supply levels are understood/on hand.
General

- To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to continually stand, walk, twist, crouch, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

- Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- This role exists in a remote home office or correctional facility.
- This role may include exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens.
- This role routinely involves the use of both medical and standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
- This position requires the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Specific visual abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Supervision
- This position will report directly to the VP, Corrections.
