Senior Nurse Manager - Hospital Perioperative Support

Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading the implementation of best practice models and patient care delivery systems and practice standards across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Delegating tasks related to investigating and resolving patient, family, and member concerns regarding care and services
• Facilitating collaboration with physicians, external healthcare providers, and other members of the care team to ensure optimal and safe patient care across the continuum
• Proactively monitoring resource needs in various clinical areas to ensure appropriate staffing and resource utilization
• Managing the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications
• Ensuring a safe environment for patients and employees
• Maintaining clinical expertise and providing clinical supervision, competency assessments, and licensing oversight
• Delegating tasks aligned with scope of practice
• Performing clinical duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in patient care delivery
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum five years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or a closely related field
• Minimum four years of leadership experience, with or without direct reports
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – California (required at hire)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required at hire)
• Several years of Operating Room experience
