Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading the implementation of best practice models and patient care delivery systems and practice standards across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Delegating tasks related to investigating and resolving patient, family, and member concerns regarding care and services
- Facilitating collaboration with physicians, external healthcare providers, and other members of the care team to ensure optimal and safe patient care across the continuum
- Proactively monitoring resource needs in various clinical areas to ensure appropriate staffing and resource utilization
- Managing the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications
- Ensuring a safe environment for patients and employees
- Maintaining clinical expertise and providing clinical supervision, competency assessments, and licensing oversight
- Delegating tasks aligned with scope of practice
- Performing clinical duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in patient care delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum five years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or a closely related field
- Minimum four years of leadership experience, with or without direct reports
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – California (required at hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required at hire)
- Several years of Operating Room experience
